Karl Shefelman is an award-winning film and commercial director whose visual style is rooted in his experience as one of the world’s top storyboard artists. Francis Ford Coppola, Ridley Scott, Martin Scorsese, Jonathan Demme and Barry Levinson are among the directors who trust their boards to Karl’s expertise. This collaboration with legendary directors has given Karl a deep understanding of visualizing from script to screen, shot by shot.
Karl’s short films (“Bill’s Seat”, “Elysian Fields”) were screened at film festivals around the world. He holds a Master’s Degree from NYU Graduate Film School and an undergraduate degree with a major in studio art at Kenyon College. He is originally from Austin, Texas. |
