THE CASUALTY
“The Casualty” is the latest feature from the acclaimed Russian director Alexander Galin (“Il Delegazione”). The film tells the story of a Russian actor who comes to New York City in the hope of conquering Broadway, but finds himself playing a role in a very different drama.
Starring Sergei Gazarov (“12”, “Turkish Gambit”), Vladimir Pankov (“Children of the Arbat”) and Natalia Soldatova (“I Thank You for Everything”) , “The Casualty” was shot entirely on location in New York and Florida.

“The Casualty” is the third feature from Alexander Galin, who is also regarded as one of Russia’s leading playrights and theator directors. His plays (“Sorry”, “The Competition” and “Czech Photo”) are in high demand on Russia’s most prestigious stages, such as Moscow Art Theater, Sovremennik and Lenkom Theater.
