Optic” was produced with the generous support of Panavision and Kodak. Within its Young Filmmaker Program, Panavision awarded the film with a 16mm camera package that was shipped to the set in Massachusetts from California. Kodak made a significant donation of film stock.

Directed by Persona’s Abigail Honor, with cinematography by Yan Vizinberg, the film screened at various festivals including the IX International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography CAMERIMAGE 2001 in Lodz, Poland, and became a regional finalist in the Student Academy Awards.
