Persona Shoots Black Eyed Peas for Samsung

Persona takes part in the launch of Samsung’s Full HD 3D LED TV technology, featuring a secret performance by the Black Eyed Peas on New York’s Times Square. Shot in 3D with cameras provided by James Cameron’s company, PACE, the event was presented by Cameron himself.

The concert was shot with six Fusion 3D HD cameras developed by James Cameron and his partner Vince Pace. They were the same cameras that Cameron used for the production of “Avatar.”

After the concert, the Black Eyed Peas, James Cameron, a few lucky fans and our crew, continued on to the Samsung Experience at Time Warner Center for a red carpet walk and exlusive party. At the party, much to everyone’s delight, Cameron showed off 3D footage from the concert itself, on Samsung’s enormous bank of 3D LED TVs.
